Motorist moving on when the traffic light is red: Kshs 10,000/-
Pedestrian crossing the road while talking on their mobile phones: Kshs. 500/-
Boarding/Alighting at non-designated matatu stops: Ksh 10,000/-
Unfastened seat belt: Ksh 500/-
Worn out tyres: Ksh 10,000/-
Double parking: Ksh 20,000/-
Please take note! You don't want to get into trouble with the Nairobi City Council askaris, do you?
In the picture on your left, I am proposing a new uniform for the askaris, to make the experience less painful.
