Malia Obama capturing history

Malia Obama was capturing history earlier today, with the First Daughter filming her father as he made his first speech as President of the World.
Malia - who was dressed in a striking blue and black coat - is regularly spotted with a camera in hand at her father's events. She has been busy documenting her father's historic days with a small digital camera. Reports indicate that Malia Obama's "camera of choice" is actually the Kodak EasyShare M893.

Malia may be the most promising White House historian: she seems to have been recording every moment with her camera, from her father's inauguration speech to Beyonce's performance on Sunday. Malia is surely getting a better than average angle on many of these occasions. President Barack H Obama has another photographer to watch out for now...

Awwwww! I saw that. I can imagine how rich this experience is for her. Sasha was looking so sweet and clueless.

@ Pink: Apparently,Sasha briefly borrowed Malia's camera during the kid's ball yesterday.

If God blesses President Obama and First Lady Michelle an African child, born in the White House, can you imagine the power...???

The ghosts of those slaves who toiled in and outside of that White House, building it will surely be singing Hallelujah on that day.

Not to take away from the young ladies, but think about the meaning of that for generations to come, a male heir to the ruling family!!!

Tutaona tu, na pole pole kazi itaendelea.

Mama Shujaa.

@Mama Shujaa, I can't quite pinpoint what it is but I have a huge problem with the male heir theory. This is the 21st century.

Coooooooooool!

I like Malia, but I absolutely love that Sasha girl! I think her cluelessness as Pink put it, is what makes her so adorable!

Eii Rafiki, sasa hata una Inauguration watch? This blog! Wacha tu!!

@ Mama Shujaa: We are too many on this planet already, so let them not promote large families. One of the daughters can become president in 40 years time: Obama II, and another historic moment: the first female President of the World.

@ Pink: I agree 100% with you, as usual.

@ Mama: Malia and Sasha are both equally loved.
Yes, we always try to keep on improving this little blog. Suggestions are always welcome.

The "First Children" are absolutely adorable. I wonder if they would be as relished had they been two BOYS instead of two girls?

Too cute! Plus have to admit I have been mesmerised by their hair.....

@ Mama Shujaa...coming from a family with no male siblings....I also have a problem with the "Male Heir" thing...as Pink said..things have changed.

@ Dave Lucas: Welcome to Rafiki Kenya. I think 2 First Sons would also have been equally popular. But the best would have been one First Daughter and one First Son.

@ neema divine: Must be their genes, as well as their smiles and happiness, and maybe also their clothing?

@ valentia: Time to go to the salon?
